Aishwarya has been signed on by Feroz Khan for 'Qurbaan Tujhpe Meri Jaan'. The film starrs Ajay Devgan & Fardeen Khan and the shooting got underway in the first week of Jan.She also starrs against Abhishek Bachchan in 'Dhai Akshar Pyar Ke'. Shooting has already commenced.And then theres also Raj Santoshi's yet-to-be-titled film with Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan !

Devdas
It took Sanjay Leela Bhansali almost a decade to get his favourite heroine to do a film with him. And finally he's all set to update the old classic Devdas for the new millennium. So there's Madhuri Dixit, who turned Bhansali down for Khamoshi, playing Chandramukhi in the film, while Aishwarya Rai plays Paro. As for the title role, it's Shah Rukh Khan as the tragic lover. Now why would anybody want to see such a weepie in the 21st century? But if his fabulous Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam is any indication of what this sensitive filmmaker is capable of, then we bet Bhansali will bulldoze the box office and go crying all the way to the bank !

This movie is finally being revived. K Sashilal Nair gave it the short shrift and producer Rahul gupta is determined to make it to the marquee. Should be unusual chemistry with hi-man Sunil Shetty romancig the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai with a busload of kiddos.

Aishwarya Rai finds herself as the new leading lady in Boney Kapoor's new production. Under SK Films Enterprises, this yet-to-be-titled movie was launched on May 7. Anil Kapoor is the hero of the film and Satish Kaushik is directing it. So far Kabir Lal has been selected as the cinematographer and dialogues will be given by Jainendra Jain.

Josh
Directed by Mansoor Khan (of QSQT, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander and Akele Hum Akele Tum fame), this remake of Westside Story pairs Shahrukh Khan with Ash... only the catch here is that she plays Shah Rukh's sister (with both wearing the same kind of coloured lenses). Gang rivalry and love in the time of stress are the pitch. Aishwarya's love interest in the film is Chandrachur Singh, while the Khan will romance the pretty Priya Gill. The movie is slated to be released in the latter half of 1999 year.

Aishwarya and Tabu to star in the fortcomming tamil movie Kandukonden Kandukonden. The film is expected to be relased in both Tamil and Hindi versions by Feb/March 2000. For more info, click here.

Ash has been signed for yet another tamil movie opposite Vijay. The film is being directed by the latter's father, S A Chandrasekhar, one of the veterans of the industry.

The film by Tips 'Albela' where Ash is paired with Govinda has been revived. Tips had a backlog of movies and now that Soldier and Kachche Dhaage are released, this film may soon become a reality.
